yea - sure you are right. I just say - there are bigger issues with HTML/CSS than that.

> I just say - there are bigger issues with HTML/CSS than that.

Yeah… no, not really. That there still is no way to correctly and reliably layout on the web is a much bigger issue than modularity.

Do you actually do web dev ? How many times you struggled with mingled CSS ? Since there is no ShadowDOM CSS boundry - it's hard to make sure some top level CSS rule is not breaking your very special div style.

Now compare this number with number of times you struggled with layouting your page ? I bet first one is far more common and costly task.

> Do you actually do web dev ?

Yes.

> How many times you struggled with mingled CSS ?

Not enough times that I'd get blood pressure issues over it.

> I bet first one is far more common and costly task.

You lost your bet. Which was idiotic, I wouldn't argue web layouting to be a bigger issue if I didn't find it to be.

It's hard to believe. Do you use CSS frameworks like TB derivatives ?

It seems your comment regarding ShadowDOM not helping layouting issues is not entirely true.
