Hardware is not a problem, but getting a 4g or 5g service plan for PC instead of mobile.

It is almost impossible to find an for internet only data. All of the providers bundle it with TV or phone.

So if you already have a phone plan and want a separate plan to say travel and connect with your business laptop, there may not be an option for you.

There's no technical reason you can't use a phone plan in an LTE router. The only problem might be data caps, but if you can snag an uncapped plan it's absolutely a viable solution.
