Ah, that's a bummer. I found it invaluable in conjunction ordering from a warehouse type store like Costco, followed by batch cooking and refrigerating or freezing things so I have low effort meals throughout the week.
Also, sheet pan meals are an incredibly low effort way to eat pretty healthy.

I've seen some positive references to the McKenzie method book, Treat Your Own Back. I haven't tried it specifically, but had good luck with their equivalent book for neck treatment.

Facinsating, although I empathize. I assume peaceful resistance of politely reiterating the reason is private would require them to yield eventually? If not, seems like it’d make for a great audio clip for some morning news show.
It's likely on a per-callcentre and per-agent basis.
Remember the agent is often required to record your disposition at the end of every contact, they can face consequences if they misuse buttons like "Answering Machine" and "Hang Up". So if they get ahold of you, they really want to get a reason out of you.
There's enough animosity out there to spread around between AMP and other centralizing forces. Calling one out doesn't implicitly give the others a pass.
Facebook (especially Instant Articles and video rehosting[0]) is awful for very similar reasons.
What's pernicious about AMP & co. is seizure of control and immense abuse potential that comes with preventing visitors from hitting content creators' domains.

Might also be worth segmenting URLs with query parameters in them into a low priority batch to check later (or skip).
(E.g., when spidering a WordPress site, the crawler wastes time on .../article/?replytocom=* URLs. URL filtering solves this, somewhat, but it might require multiple passes to identify all of the problematic query strings.)
