I bought one of those 6 months ago when the top spec was $2k, now it's $2700 yikes. Very happy with my purchase. I picked this precisely because it's the only non-apple with that unified architecture for memory. I still wanted to put kubernetes on it so it's important it's not a Mac.

Use GITHUB_TOKEN env var to give it gh access with the CLI. Or is gh not installed?

I'm using the web UI and its container.

Claude Code for the web would be able to do that

> gamepass made it all a total steal

Doing the math i can't find this to be true. As some one that has honed my taste in games, and have a large steam library, I don't spend as much money on games as game pass cost.

With the recent price changes the calculus changes for sure. Even though I live in Europe now, my subscription is stil set up in South Africa. So I used to pay the equivalent of €10 per month for Ultimate, now it's €18/mo.

I think if I were forced to relocate my subscription and pay the full real price (€30/mo), I will probably cancel and buy a €90 game evey quarter or something.

I ended up cancelling gamepass after the subscription increase. I already own most of the games they offer, so it was really the odd AAA or indie release I'd play on it.

Indie games are cheap and most AAA titles go on sale within six months, which is fine because I usually don't play them day of launch.

Then there's the issue with gamepass games not working on my system. It's the only platform where I've had consistent issues getting games to run. Even free games like fortnite, were bundled with the wrong anticheat.

Optimistically I'm hoping they're just bridging the gap to produce a ton of solar energy. Can't be upset until they eclipse the USA emissions.

Although I'm surprised China doesn't just build nuke plants.

All my friends drive pick up trucks to the office and drink all their water from 12 oz single use plastic bottles. The hybrids were too complicated or something.

Billionaires just ignore any laws in place to stop it. Fines don't affect them.

The technology will get cheaper as we start to use it. Solar is getting ridiculously cheap but China is leading the way on that

Caps attached is to keep litter down. Plastic needs to stop being manufactured, recycling plastic is not effective and not green.

I think lab grown may be getting more promising?
